The Artist

I was always an artist.

I’m Jaime Claire. Art came first — then years in marketing, branding, and creative direction. When I came back to the wall and the canvas, I stayed. Spirit Hawk Creative is where that story lives, and where creativity stays human.

The Gallery

A consciously curated selection of works.

Each room below was read before it was painted — its light, its geometry, the energy held in the walls. What follows is the work that answered: murals, faux finishes, and lime wash interiors chosen for what they teach about color, space, and the quiet authority of a finished room.

BeBespoke Apparel

  • Westwood, New Jersey
  • September 2017
  • 50 sq ft
  • ~40 hours
  • Wall mural

A forty-hour immersion into urban expanse for a bespoke tailor. The composition leans into deep Poppyseed and metallic silvers so the city recedes far behind the suit — and the room's fire alarm becomes the moon. When clients photograph their fittings in the mirror, the skyline is their backdrop.

  • Wraparound mural

A 330-square-foot Portuguese bakery wrapped wall-to-wall in a layered tropical canopy — about fifty hours over two weeks. Deep and mid teals carry the room while ferns, banana leaves, hanging vines and clusters of purple berries hold the rhythm. A small coral monkey rests on a branch as a quiet reward for guests who look twice over their espresso and pastéis de nata.

The Spiral Bloom

Private residence

  • Ridgefield Park, New Jersey
  • 150 sq ft
  • ~5 days
  • Loft staircase · acrylic

A noir botanical ascent hand-painted in Little Black Dress black and white acrylic on the dark wood walls of a spiral staircase leading to a loft bedroom. The Gothic ambience of the timber frame holds the fine-line dahlias, peonies and climbing vines in sharp relief — the bouquet seems to grow with every step toward the bedroom.

The Celestial Sky

Private residence

  • Bergen County, New Jersey
  • September 2024
  • Kitchen mural
  • Acrylic + gold foil

A windowless kitchen in a low-lit home, transformed into something that feels expensive and open. Soft cloud layers drift across the walls in graduated slate and dusty blues, anchored by a hand-applied gold foil sun that catches what little light the room offers. Gold birds arc through the mist, and if you look closely, a small gold flying saucer hovers among them — a quiet wink for the client. The gold leaf lightning that cracks through the clouds ties the whole room together.

  • August 2018
  • 20 sq ft
  • Mudroom accent wall

A quiet stand of birch trees hand-painted along a mudroom wall — slender white trunks rising from the baseboard with charcoal bark detail, layered over a soft mist-grey field. A small, grounding moment of forest the family walks past on their way in and out of the house.

Montana Mist

Private residence

  • Mahwah, New Jersey
  • 20 sq ft
  • ~16 hours
  • Bathroom mural · gold line

A layered mountain landscape inspired by sunset in Glacier National Park, hand-painted in a Mahwah bathroom. Gradated bands of deep navy rise through mist blue and pale grey into warm sand, each ridge separated by a hairline of gold that catches the vanity light. The effect is of standing inside the horizon itself — a quiet, expansive moment in just twenty square feet.

The Mindful Texture

Private residence

  • Living room accent wall
  • Faux lime wash
  • Pale pine latex
  • Matte + eggshell

A faux lime wash living room in pale pine latex — matte and eggshell layered on the lighter green to emphasize the flex of light being brought in. The finish catches morning sun through sheer curtains and shifts with the hour, giving the walls a breathing, satin quality that reads as expensive and calm. Tall bookcases anchor the room while the surface itself becomes the quiet feature.

The Concrete Kitchen

Private residence

  • Warwick, New York
  • 500 sq ft
  • ~2 weeks
  • Faux lime wash + latex

Five hundred square feet of kitchen and breakfast nook finished in a layered faux lime wash with matte and eggshell latex over neutral grey and warm white. About two weeks of patient, layered work to build the cloud-like depth of poured concrete on plaster — soft enough to read as calm, dimensional enough to catch every change in the daylight. The finish lets the dark cabinetry, wood island and black hardware sit quietly without competing.

The Approach

Art That Belongs There.

Every Spirit Hawk Creative project begins with the space itself.

Rather than selecting something generic to fill a wall, we consider the architecture, environment, color, purpose, story, and energy of the space to create something that feels intentionally placed—and entirely its own.

Original art over mass-produced decoration.
